Report from 37th edition of Biela Stopa Bad snow condition before 37th edition of Biela Stopa bring a lot problems to organisers of BS. But two days before race and during race too, heavy snowfall give to OK hope to organise good two race days. Temperature about -8°C and fresh snow give opportunity for good waxing. A lot of spectators around routes can see to run 850 skiers from 10 countries. Best Slovaks was not on the start, due to other programme before WOG in Vancouver., but best Slovak biathlonist was on the start. Winner of main race on 42Km on Saturday was member of Slovak biathlon team Pavol Hurajt, followed Czech Radek Šretr with 2,4 sec gap only. Best woman was Ľubomíra Kalinová, member of Slovak biathlon team as well.They had very well trening for Vancouver sure! Sunday race was for classical lowers only. On 25Km route Czech Radek Śretr took first place. He was satisfied for Saturday race, when he was second. First woman on the podium was Nina Haláčová from local ski club MKL Kremnica. OK of 38th edition of Biela Stopa, which will be Euroloppet Championships invite all skiers to take part! See you next year on Skalka ski resort!

Dear friends in ski! Organisation committee of 37th. edition of Eurollopet cross – country skiing marathon Biela Stopa invite you on the start. You can fill in entry form in the day of the race too! All routes are prepared and well groomed now. Everything will begin on Friday: Big show under name BIG AIR IN THE CITY you can watch on main Štefánik Square in Kremnica ! Sorry to write, but City sprint race on Friday on Štefánik square is cancelled due to lack of snow in town of Kremnica, but at Saturday and Sunday will be held full programme of 37th. edition of Biela Stopa. Routes for main Saturday race are 42Km and 25Km –free technique Sunday race is for classical lowers. 25Km route is waiting only for them. Several well know athlets will be on start. It will be surprise, sure! See you on the cross-country skiing tracks on Skalka ski resort !
